EXCLUSIVE: New Jersey sports marketing company ISM entangled in FIFA bribery, kickback scandal BY TERI THOMPSON , CHRISTIAN RED , NATHANIEL VINTON NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Wednesday, June 10, 2015, 10:10 PM For more than 15 years, one of FIFA's most powerful executives trusted a small sports marketing company operating out of an obscure office in Jersey City to ink corporate sponsorship deals for South America's biggest soccer tournament, the Copa Libertadores. The corporations paid for title sponsorship rights to the annual tournament, which pits the continent's best professional clubs against each other, and the Jersey City firm took a commission on every deal. Now, the Daily News has learned that the company -- described as "Sports Marketing Company A" in the sweeping indictment of Leoz and other FIFA officials released two weeks ago in the Eastern District of New York -- is International Soccer Marketing, or ISM, a company founded in 1995.
