A condo has made Hoboken history by hitting the market at $6.6 million, according to a city-based real estate agency.

Once completely constructed, the condo will combine two units on the 22nd floor of the W Hotel on River Street, said Kristin Ehrgott, broker/owner at Avenue Residential. The condo, which went up for sale on Tuesday, is the largest and most expensive condo in the city's history, based on tax records and the Hudson County Multiple Listing Service, she said. The property is also the priciest condo currently listed in New Jersey, according to Zillow. The second-highest is a three-bedroom condo in Jersey City, listed for $3.5 million.

The high price is symptomatic of a changing market in Hoboken, she said. Prices have increased exponentially, inching closer to ranges seen across the Hudson River.

"It's been pretty great that Hoboken has been elevated to this Manhattan-esque market," she said. "We already have a lot of interest in the property."

A little more than a year ago, the highest-priced condos were listed for just over $3 million. Last month, another high-profile Hoboken property hit the market. A waterfront condo?owned by Giants Quarterback Eli Manning, according to tax records?was listed for $5.2 million.

A Cobble Hill townhouse crammed full of the types of amenities normally reserved for luxe Manhattan skyscrapers has broken the record for the most expensive home ever sold in Brooklyn, the Daily News has learned.

The four-story, six-bedroom carriage house, at 177 Pacific St., sold for $15.5 million, according to our spies, crushing the previous record Brooklyn sale by a whopping $3 million.

That mark was set by in 2012, when Truman Capote's former digs at 70 Willow St. in Brooklyn Heights sold for $12.5 million.

As crazy as Brooklyn prices are these days, $15.5 million still buys you a lot: A massive 10,000-square-foot, 27-foot-wide property with amenities such as a 20-seat movie theater, a gym, a children?s play room, a wine cellar, a 2,600-square-foot roof garden, an elevator and four parking spots. It even has radiant heating, herringbone floors and four working fireplaces.
