If you read the Jersey City reporter on the debate at Ferris HS, Angela McKnight says, " I attended regular public schools. I've chosen to send my children to charter schools. I can't afford a private school."
At the debate McKnight says she left her $100,000 a year job for her non-profit. She also says she is married. I am guessing her spouse also has a job. I know many families that have their children in private schools and do not make $100,000 plus (both spouses employed). Angela McKnight has two children.
