It's a unique space because of the soundproofing and the fact that shows stream live on the radio. It's a little less social because you can't talk between bands unless you go out of the performance space into the other room. And yeah, it can get crowded and hot But the shows there are really top notch - well produced, solid acts, etc. I recommend getting there early to get seats (they start exactly on time - again because it's radio).

this is the second post to mention seats. where are there seats? I've only been to all-standing shows at Monty Hall.

It's a very nice space, I just wish it were larger (it's about half the size of Maxwell's back room). I saw Pat Byrne's Prove it All Night there a while ago and it was an awesome show, but a bit hard to find seating, so we had to stand around at the back for a while until space opened up. Had tickets to see some bands recently but had to change plans so I still haven't seen a band there yet

Really nice addition to the city, I'm glad they were finally able to open up. And yeah it's BYO so make sure to stop by our shop or call us up for a delivery ;)

it's kinda like the back room at the old Maxwells, but with carpeting.

good sound (also: loud). great sightlines if you're tall.

no bar, but beer for sale near the door.

a great place to see a band when it's at about 2/3 capacity. sold-out shows get a little too claustrophobic for my comfort.

Has anybody been here for a show? What's it like? Is there a bar?
