A city man has been charged with fondling a woman while attempting to drag her into a building yesterday. Ashraf N. Mesak of the 100 block of Duncan Avenue in Jersey City made his first court appearance on the charges today in Central Judicial Processing court in Jersey City this afternoon via video link from Hudson County jail in Kearny. Mesak allegedly committed the crime of criminal sexual contact "for the purpose of sexually arousing or sexually gratifying himself or to humiliate or degrade" the victim, the complaint states. Story
