Who ever does the maintenance for these buildings does and excellent job, everything always looks fresh and manicured. I believe there is a waiting list that is very, very long.

I believe it's an affordable housing building, and at the moment applications look closed if its managed by jcha. You could try calling College Towers Inc directly.

In the 1950s, the building received a tax abatement for 40 years. The low rents allowed many residents the opportunity to buy homes on the shore. When the abatement expired in the 1990s, Schundler gave them a 10 year extension. In the 1990s, rents were typical in the $400 range. They have gone up since the extension expired but not by much. The rent also includes off street parking.

If this is the complex under discussion, they sound very similar to the Mitchell-Lama co-ops in NY. When did they become rentals?

The people I know there are renters and they have been there for a long time.

I believe it's an affordable housing building, and at the moment applications look closed if its managed by jcha. You could try calling College Towers Inc directly.

Hi, is anyone familiar with College Towers in Greenville off of West Side Ave? I have been told that rent for a two bedroom is very reasonable. Any info would be appreciated.
