Years ago, Mariano Vega had an accident with a county car. It happened in upstate NY. It never made the local papers. The county just replaced the car.

Until this is resolved, it would be a conflict of interest for him to vote on any police or court related matters including anything related to the city budget and generating revenues to pay for the budget and any ordinances that need to be enforced by JCPD.

Ramchal had a blood alcohol level of .15, almost twice the legal limit, the report says. The vehicle Ramchal was driving had emergency lights that were on at the time of the accident, a witness told police
Last night, Ramchal was at Casino in the Park, a Lincoln Park catering hall, for a St. Patrick's Day party.

Could not have happened to a dumber guy. Funny - as much of a ruckus that was raised about Lipski (and that was a complete embarrassment), this is much worse. You aren't at risk of killing people when you piss on them. It'll be interesting to see how the chips fall on this one. Mr. Mayor?

Ramchal, 39, was traveling southbound on West Side Avenue in a 2013 Ford Explorer when he collided with another vehicle at Communipaw Avenue at about 12:30 a.m., according to the report. Ramchal had a blood alcohol level of .15, almost twice the legal limit, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.
