Yeah JohnBridge forum might be a better venue to ask. I think it's the waterpump that is not functioning properly. It's an uneven flow of water, comes in spurts rather than evenly.

My Felker TM-75 has a separate pump that immerses in the tray. Not the greatest solution, but easy to fix or replace. I think it's just a "fountain" landscaping pump, A Jebao JP-900, 0.14A. Can't beat $18 at Amazon for it to be "fixed".

Can anybody suggest somebody locally who repairs power tools? I have a wet saw that isn't working properly and would like to fix it rather than purchase a new one.

I can't imagine there's anyone other than the couple of "electronic repair" places. Have you tried googling the various websites and forums? I've found incredibly detailed instructions for some of my vintage tools. I'll bet someone at the tilesetter site Johnbridge.com can give you pointers. What's wrong anyway?
