Green building workshop coming to Jersey City this week

Jersey City residents can now learn to integrate sustainability into the corporate environment at the Corporate Sustainability Workshop: A View from the Top, on Friday. It will be hosted by the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce. Sponsored by Jersey City and Mayor Steve Fulop, this informative workshop aims to teach people how to recognize areas that can integrate sustainability, explain key concepts of sustainability, identify green building practices and provide a general education about understanding and implementing a green best practices. The seminar features speaker Jason Kliwinski, the CEO and founder of the Green Building Center. Kliwinski is also a certified LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) fellow and works as the director of sustainability for Parette Somjen Architects.
