I was going to post this Monday morning when I saw all the cars with flats. I probably should have, now I saw the Jersey Journal posted it a day late. They could of posted it on the website sooner.
Yes I'm sure all the shootings in the area are important but at least the neighborhood can lookout for this in the area.
It happened the same night as the tire slashings in New York where they slashed about 100 tires on one street in about 30min!

Bad way to start your week: Tires of 27 cars punctured on Jersey City street

Mondays are tough enough, but the day was a little rougher for the owners of more than two dozen vehicles in Jersey City who woke up yesterday and found their tires had been punctured.

Jersey City police said that a total of 27 vehicles on Boyd Avenue were vandalized when one or more people punctured at least one tire on each of the vehicles.

The vehicles were all parked between West Side and Mallory avenues, police said.

Police responded to Boyd Avenue on a report of criminal mischief at 4:44 a.m. Monday, so it is believed the vandalism occurred sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning.
