Oh also, Tom Kehoe - founder of Yards Brewery - will be in our store tomorrow (Thursday 12/11) for our Yards tasting 6-8pm, so stop in to try some free beer samples and chat with the man himself about his brewery. I'm pretty excited to meet him myself.

We did a series of beer and cider-making classes at our shop this Summer, but we've now paired up with Hudson County Community College to do some classes at their Culinary Conference Center. They have an awesome kitchen there, and it's going to be a lot of fun brewing a beer with some professional equipment.

During the class we brew a beer so you get a hands-on, in-person demo of everything you need to know, as well as some history and interesting facts. We also taste different styles of beer, and the HCCC will be making some fresh pretzels to pair. Students also get a discount on homebrew stuff.
