A Jersey City man remains in stable, but critical condition at a local hospital after being stabbed several times last night by two men who were later apprehended wearing blood-stained clothes, authorities said.

Rahsaan Jackson, 23, and Anthony Roman, 22, were arrested last night near the scene of the attack, and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal attempted murder, and other weapons offenses. Roman was additionally charged with unlawful possession of mace.

Just before 11 p.m. last night, police were dispatched to Clifton Place near McGinley Square, on the report of a stabbing. Officers found a man covered in blood lying against a white Mercedes Benz, with two men trying to help him, according to a police report stated.
