Sorry, pal, you'd be disappointed to know that your leaders have been lying to you again.

Washington Post: The absurd claim that only Republicans are to blame for cuts to Ebola research, they award it "4 Pinocchios" and that from the decidedly left publication that needed years to figure out that "you can keep your insurance" was a lie.

Basically, they explain two things. First, the "cut" was proposed by Obama. Second, you can't seriously blame the problem on that small cut, because Clinton and Bush did greatly increase the overall budget over years and that "cut" was not all that big, more like a hiccup.

Other articles on the same subject. No math knowledge is required, you can just take a look at the nice pictures that illustrate the spending:
CATO: Centers for Disease Control Spending
Reason: Can You Blame Ebola Outbreak on "Republican Cuts" to Health Budgets?

Also, you'd be interested that people who complain that they didn't have enough money to study Ebola, somehow managed to find resources to study things like the sex drive of Japanese quail. You can google a lot more stories about what the NIH and the CDC do have money for.

Sorry, pal, you'd be happy to know that you are very uninformed.

Here is a NYPost How the feds block Ebola cures, with stories about some private firms that do tons of interesting things that could have helped. Alas...

The NY Daily News is reporting that the doctor took the A, 1 and L subway lines Wednesday night.

It's time to ban flights in and out of the NYC area.

Nice one. In the news: that now that there's Ebola hysteria Big Pharma is seeing dollar signs in a vaccine. Couldn't care less before. A finer argument for "big government", and against "the market will always provide" would be hard to find.

Sure the market will provide, possibly after an extinction event. I was just listening to Big History where he describes the old idea of Gaia Hypothesis, the idea of the earth as an organism with regulation and defense mechanisms. Virus as antibody to a 10,000 year old human infection....

Reality check, Bozos. There are a mere 8 confirmed cases in the US.

why is there no surgeon general spearheading this?

And, since he's a Dr working in this field who should know how to avoid exposure himself, we can now be scared that perhaps it's easier to become infected than our government 'experts' say it is.

If you want to spread ebola in our area, that's exactly how to do it. It can live on surfaces for days if not weeks. Seems to me he switched from doing God's work to the Devil's work.

This dude was in contact with Ebola patients, why wasn't he quarantined for 21 days before he could travel to the US?!

This is really unfucking believable. 100% preventable but Obama is too cowardly to institute a travel ban like he should. If anyone in our area gets infected as a result, this blood is on Obama's hands.

A Harlem doctor went bowling in Brooklyn before he was hospitalized for possible Ebola.

The shocking revelation that Dr. Craig Spencer was roaming around town ? after sources said he first told authorities he self-quarantined himself ? emerged after the medic was hauled off Thursday to Bellevue Hospital in a protective suit with symptoms of the deadly disease.

Spencer, 33, who recently returned from the disease-wracked West African county of Guinea, was suffering from nausea and had a 103-degree fever, sources said.

Preliminary results of tests that would determine whether Spencer has the city?s first confirmed case of Ebola were expected overnight, the city's Department of Health and Mental Hygiene said in a statement.

Mayor de Blasio tried to reassure New Yorkers.

?It is our understanding very few people were in direct contact with him,? the mayor said. ?Every protocol has been followed. We're hoping for a good outcome for this individual.?

Doctors Without Borders, with whom Spencer was working in Guinea, said in a statement their doctor ?notified our office this morning to report having developed a fever.?

Dr. Craig Spencer was reportedly suffering from nausea and a high fever before being rushed to Bellevue Hospital. Above, he dons protective robes in Belgium, a connector hub between the U.S. and West Africa.

Dr. Craig Spencer was reportedly suffering from nausea and a high fever before being rushed to Bellevue Hospital. Above, he dons protective robes in Belgium, a connector hub between the U.S. and West Africa.

And New York-York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia, where Spencer is on staff, insisted ?he has not been to work at our hospital and has not seen any patients at our hospital since his return from overseas.?

But Spencer hit the lanes in Williamsburg on Wednesday and he used Uber taxis to get around, sources said.

He was at The Gutter on N. 14th St. and the Brooklyn Bowl on Wythe Ave. on Wednesday, they said.

When a reporter went by The Gutter on Thursday, it was closed and a promoter said the bar area, where a concert was supposed to be held wasn't opening due to "unforeseen circumstances."

Brooklyn Bowl, on its Facebook page, said they have not been contacted by authorities.

"We are aware of the reports that an individual who may possibly be infected with Ebola attended an event in Williamsburg last night,? it read.

At no point was the bridge closed, and besides, after millions of taxpayer money wasted by Whizzy and Whiney, there is no proof but the truth he didn't know anything about the couple of orange cones anyway.
