A report of a person threatening to jump from a 31st floor balcony this afternoon at a Jersey City waterfront high-rise garnered a large response from law enforcement and medical personnel.

Ambulances and police vehicles crowded the area in front of Liberty Towers, 35 Hudson St., where the episode unfolded around 1:30 p.m.
