A fearless 20-year-old refused to give up his cellphone this morning when he was confronted by a gun-toting robber around 12:15 a.m. at Arlington and Claremont avenues in Jersey City, according to a police report. Instead of handing over his phone, the 20-year-old struck the robber's hand, which was holding the gun, with his device, the report states. The gun fell to the ground and fired off a round.
