Darrell Reid was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Colts in 2005, and spent time at the defensive tackle. He filled in as a fullback in goal line situations, and has played special teams. Reid helped lead his team to win Super Bowl XLI with the Colts in 2007.

Odessa Turner is a former professional American football wide receiver in the National Football League for seven seasons for the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers. He helped lead the New York Giants to Super Bowl Victory in 1991. He played college football at Northwestern State University and was drafted in the fourth round of the 1987 NFL Draft.

Lance Ball is an American football running back who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at the University of Maryland. Ball has also been a member of the Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans and Denver Broncos.

DLJ Give to Live Community Foundation are the producers ofJersey City Fashion Week. Through this program the foundation gives back to various causes supporting it's mission. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to this program.

Emerging Designers Score a Fashion Touchdown and Make a Statement; At 2014 Jersey City Fashion Week Presents ?Where Fashion Touches Down? Football Fashion Week - A Pre-Super Bowl XLVIII Fashion Event!

New Jersey ? City of Jersey City ? 2014 Football Fashion Week was a huge Success with celebrity NFL appearances by N.Y. Jets Starting Safety Jaiquawn Jarrett, Super Bowl Champs Darrell Reid and Odessa Turner at the January 24, 2014 fashion show at Pole Position Raceway.

Designer Samantha Samuel emerged as a designer to watch, her collection should be on its way to the Ovation TV?s ?The Fashion Fund?. Samantha, a new and magnetic rising star in the tri-state fashion world, stole the night, with her football helmeted models, absolutely true to the theme of the night.

Jersey City Fashion Week Spokesperson Marc John Jefferies excited the entire crowd with a surprise appearance after finishing? Brotherly Love? an upcoming Queen Latifah Production, Big Moma?s House: Like Father, Like Son and producing his own short film ?Happy Baby?. This show was the most inspiring Super Bowl XLVII Fashion Show in the Tri-State area with Super Bowl XXI and XXV Champion Carl Banks G-III Sports Apparel Group, LaRae Wilson signature line LaRae Mychel featuring an exclusive one of a kind Cocktail Dress made of White Castle? Slider packaging and Tommy Hilfiger contributing his exceptional collection. This event was the Highlight of Jersey City Fashion Week?s Production of the 2014 Football Fashion Week ?Where Fashion Touches Down? A Pre-Super Bowl XLVIII Fashion Event.

This event was listed on the NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee website as a public event to attend. In addition to Odessa Turner (New York Giants Super Bowl XXV Champion) and Darryl Reid (Indianapolis Colts Super Bowl XLI Champion) celebrity models also included, Marsha Thompson (Miss Tropical Paradise 2013) and Dante S. Briggins of Wilhelmina Models. All blitzed the runway in GIII Sports gear by Carl Banks. Amazing swimwear and spring designs illuminated the runway creating sheer havoc in the audience as they tried to encompass the extraordinary collection of designs presented. Karlene Lindsey of KL Designs, Chris Nonn of Daring USA kept the sparkle on the runway with exceptional styling. This being said, it is not hard to imagine the buzz created by Tori Carters ?Strike A Pose? children models as they strutted on the runway in NFL licensed gear. The children?s model?s clothing had its own special artistic touch and they held their own quite extraordinarily on the runway. The children?s model?s struck deliberate poses to cheers until intermission finally calmed the exuberant audience. Intermission included Jeff Foxx of WBLS and Sirius XM Radio broadcasting on Internet

As the evening turned into night fashion faithful?s were all still in attendance, to see the unforgettable designs of New York Designer Bernard Moore?s Bathhouse Swim wear. Mr. Moore has worked with Diddy, 50 Cent, Nelly, T.I., Lisa Raye, B.E.T. Television Network ?Rip the Runway? and VH1 ?Ford Model Agency World Super Model Search Fashion. He was followed by designers John Cheeks, Infinite Form Lingerie (Full Figured) always a Jersey City Fashion Week favorite and Peter Giscombe?s Yamon Wear which swooped down on the runway with Butterfly and feathery angelic winged models. Kay Unger New York followed worn by the pageant queens in attendance is a finely detailed dressy casual line fit for a queen and was received in a royal fashion by the Football Fashion Week diehards still enjoying the complementary White Castle? Sliders. Next, True Ink a Luxury T- Shirt Brand by Ray Edwards a professional boxer and Minnesota Vikings 2006 NFL Draft selection kept you in your seat with his hi end precision tailored Luxury T ? Shirt line that was praised by all. The Tommy Hilfiger Line closed with his traditional Red, White and Blue signature colors. His reputation goes unmatched and was an outstanding way to close the show.

GridIron Group which provides football camps for inner city children, Jersey City Recreation Foundation and the NY/NJ SnowFlake Youth Foundation.
