This may be the most poorly written article I have ever read.

It mentioned "according to police" at the end of every sentence and twice in one paragraph. That paragraph was only two sentences long!

It stated the dollar value of $2800 twice, for some reason. It also had to include that the husband was 57 years old but didn't mention the ages of the wife or mother.

Wow...

A Jersey City couple woke up Saturday to find about $2,800 worth of electronics and jewelry stolen from their home, according to police.

"A woman living on Terrance Avenue told police that she went to sleep around 2 a.m. on Friday night, according to police. But when she awoke at 6 a.m. on Saturday, she noticed that the room where her mother sleeps was ransacked and clothes were tossed on the floor, according to police."

And I thought I loved to sleep.

The room where her mother sleeps, and I will go out on a limb, would imply that her mother lived with her. So mom was sleeping in the the room while it was being ransacked?

God bless the JJ and its crystal clear reporting.
