JCPD memo: JC Bloods have called for backup to kill another officer
Posted on July 15, 2014 by John Heinis In wake of the murder of 23-year-old officer Melvin Santiago, the Jersey City Police Department has acknowledged that the Bloods in Jersey City have requested help from affiliate gang members in Camden and Newark to assist in killing another police officer, according to a police memo obtained by Hudson County View. ?Information from a reliable source within the BLOODS stated that the BLOODS within Jersey City have requested assistance from the BLOODS GANG MEMBERS from Camden and Newark to shoot another POLICE OFFICER in Jersey City,? an excerpt of the memo says. ?The Cops targeted are those who are working the DOT skyway Detail single man unit. In addition to shooting a Police Officer, members of the BLOODS will attack and shoot Jersey City EMTs because they know the Police Officers will respond immediately to their back-up.? The memo concludes by stating that according to a reliable source, ?the BLOODS will not stop until the National Guards are called in.? As ABC?s Eyewitness News reported last night, the memo also states that the Bloods in Jersey City are stashing AK-47s in abandoned houses and apartments. Santiago was killed at the Walgreens at the intersection of Communipaw Ave. and John F. Kennedy Blvd. early Sunday morning when he responded to an armed robbery. His funeral service is set for Friday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church, which will commence after the JCPD marches in Santiago?s honor. Public Safety Director James Shea could not be reached be immediately reached at his office on Tuesday and did not immediately return a call to his cell phone. Invasion in the South on our borders. Gravey cannot even mask his xenophobia and antipathy for others. Do we have a police athletic league here where the police partner with schools at risk kids to keep them off the streets and to foster camaraderie. I was yelled at by a JC for turning on red when you couldn't. He was irate and clenching his fists I presumed he was on steroids and raging. I also for a sec "if he thinks he can treat me, a professional, this way in front of bystanders how does he treat people in the ghetto less affluent parts of JC". Nonetheless the widow of the perp is ridiculous for not showing contrition and compassion and shrines aren't for criminals/repeat offenders.

Jersey City police in the South Precinct were warned of retaliation related to the shooting death of Lavon King by police last month, Ch, 7 ABC reported. Lavon King was wanted on warrants and after a chase he struggled with an officer and reached for the officer's gun, police said. King was shot dead.

This is a very credible threat - and we saw that already with this morning's attack. The cops won't take down the monument to Campbell because they fear a riot.

It's sad to know someone was killed so young, barely into their career especially in law enforcement. In time hopefully, his family will move on and think of only all the good he accomplished and did. After having read the threads relating to this awful tragedy, i think everyone not directly affected needs to get a grip. It's disturbing to see how people are letting their anger, hate, fears, bias and prejudices get carried away and spew nonsense. Most of you are coming across as "us versus them", "civilized and uncivilized". The world is not going to become black and white no matter how hard we try to plug a square peg in a circle. You want to honor that young man who gave his life then get off the computer and go into the community....the wider community and contribute something other than hot air coming out of your pie holes. Ps. The police will take all due precautions to deal with any threat they feel that is coming their way. Good luck hoping your local democrat government is willing to deal with real issues like eliminating ghettos and the commensurate culture of said ghettos where cop killing is rewarded instead of good grades, parenting and social skills. Wake me when this dream hits. Until then keep throwing the tax payer money into the black hole (no pun intended) known as Greenville/Bergen/Lafayette.

Jersey City police in the South District are being warned to be on high alert for possible retaliation for the death of Lavon King, according to Eyewitness News.
King was shot and killed during a struggle with a police officer in an Ege Avenue backyard, according to Hudson County Assistant Prosecutor Gene Rubino. Eyewitness News said it has obtained internal police memos that detail a specific tactical plan that the station is not revealing, but it notes that the source of the threat comes from the area of Martin Luther King Drive near Grant Avenue. The station said that the situation has become more urgent with the killing of Police Officer Melvin Santiago and the man police say shot him, Lawrence Campbell. According to Eyewitness News, other memos warn of "retaliation using various members of the Bloods", adding that an informant "has personally seen Mack 10's, Mack 11's and Ak47's in houses in that area" and further warned "anyone on bicycles or motorcycles will likely be carrying handguns at this time. He said they also have bullet-proof vests." MORE
