Thanks, all! I joined over the weekend, and went on Saturday. The facility was really nice (surprisingly not crowded, I guess no-one exercises on Saturdays in the summer LOL) and the front desk staff friendly. Only wish they provided bicycle parking.

I like the simplicity - I loathe classes, too many pretentious yuppies... And the space is nice, big, and bright.

My husband and I really like it, if you can manage to get there during "off" hours. Our schedule allows us to workout in the mid-to-late afternoon, which is practically dead. If you go there after 6pm, however, expect madness.
The locker rooms are kept very clean, there is plenty of cardio equipment as well as free weights, machines, ropes, and bosu balls spread out over two floors.
Like the other poster said, bring your own towel. Overall, it's a great space if you're not looking for group classes.

I haven't had a chance to get over there, but I've seen other Blink locations. Is this one in the basement? Something about not having windows just kills my (already weak) exercise motivation.

I've been going for a few weeks now, here's a short rundown. The place is very modern and boasts all new machines, clean environment, and it's well maintained. Just know though, for $15 a month this is a no-frills gym. They have personal trainers on staff, but no classes like other gyms. They also don't have towel service, so BYO! Thankfully, there are showers in case you need to head somewhere right after your workout. All in all, I'd say it's well worth the $15/mo.

Joining a gym increasingly unavoidable - the membership price ($15/month) is great, and living in the Heights this is the only gym I can plausibly walk to.

Before taking the plunge, any reactions/impressions from folks who may have joined or at least checked it out?
