Jersey City planner elected to American Planning Association board of directors

A Jersey City planner has been elected to serve on the American Planning Association's board of directors.

Courtenay Mercer will serve as one of the 13 members of the board, which is
responsible for governing the 40,000-member organization. Her four-year term began today.

Mercer owns Mercer Planning Associates, located on Grove Street. She is treasurer for local group Jersey City Parents for Progress.
