I've been to a kids' birthday party at Bayonne Community Center. The kids actually got to spend 1 hr in the pool, and then we all went to the basketball court where food was served. Everyone had a good time - the basketball court (indoor) was a great idea because it allowed the parents to mingle while the kids can run around in the big area and play.

Your child may be too young for the pool, but if you're interested, you could check about the basketball court (great for older siblings

Grace Church Van Vorst on the corner of 2nd and Erie rents out the Parish Hall (basically a basketball court) with a kitchen, or the Sanctuary for very reasonable rates.

Where else can you rent a 160 year old beautiful historic Church? Call Robin 201-659-2211 in the mornings

I've been to lots of events at Casino in the Park, and i've always been pleasantly surprised at how well they turn it out for an event...

the places in Kearny are also great....

We had our son's Baptism lunch at Rita's & Joe's and it was really great. Don't know if it's big enough for you....

Schuetzen Park catering in North bergen. A pretty good place that isn't far. I've have been to a few parties there and have all been good, however, last party I went to was about 3 or 4 years ago. If you're willing to go a little further I would recommend Iberia in Newark. They have a hall for around 100 people and serve great food. I hosted party there last November and it went great. If I remember correctly it was $51 for that hall (they have 3 different halls in total).

Hi
I'm interested in renting a hall for my daughters first birthday. I have read some of the suggestion from other forums but they seem a bit outdated I was wondering if anyone had any current recommendations for a rental hall or venue that can accommodate 80-100 ppl in jersey city or the surrounding towns.

Thank you.
G
