A1 is my usual late night spot. Can't beat a delicious fresh made sandwich at 3am for 6 bucks. It's open 24 hours.
Vegas Grill is also open 24 hours but I can't strongly recommend it, they take forever to get your food ready. But they do have alot of options so it could be a decent spot for some.

Supposedly, City Diner was planning on going 24 hours but that hasn't happened yet.

Vegas Grill on Columbus right off of Grove Street is 24 hours and has a few tables and chairs for eating there. Not an endorsement of the food, just letting you know it exists.

It's actually fairly typical of JC eateries to initially either say they are going to stay open late, or actually stay open late at first, but after a couple of months realize that it's not worth it. If the nightlife increases, we may see more late night eateries open up. Really strange how there is no diner other than Brownstone. A greasy spoon place would be superb.

Not sure which are late night and which are 24 hrs, but my go-to late night places are:

Ibby's falafel (open til 2)
Grove bistro for pizza (open til 4 I think)
Two boots (open til 4 I think)
A-1 Deli (I believe this is 24/7)
Gypsy grill (open til 4 I think)
Hollywood Fried Chicken (open til 4 I think)

Hope this is helpful.

Gypsy Grill is a GREAT place, but it is no longer a late night place. :(

They used to stay open until 3 AM (my go to spot after a few hours at Barcade) but I think business was too slow, so they now close at 10 PM every night. And, if you really want a shawarma, get there by 9:45, or earlier. They start cleaning up around that time and put the stuff away quickly.

The VIP diner was featured in The Sopranos.

Terrific choice Bricks ! I forgot about them, great hamburger deluxes and breakfasts. I guess the same reason I mentioned White Castle it is usually forgotten. Better eats at the V.I.P. though.

Are there any 24 hour restaurants in the DTJC area or any near any PATH station?

It seems as though City Diner was supposed to be a 24 hour diner but their hours are only until midnight.

I prefer a location downtown as it is walking distance for me but anywhere near a PATH train will do (hopefully it is safe!).
