We are super excited to hold our fifth annual
Metro Arts Summer Institute held at the St. Peter?s Prep campus in Downtown Jersey City. The program will run from July 21st ? August 1st, 2014, Monday ? Friday 9AM-3PM.
This two-week program will provide quality studio-based fine art classes taught by professional artists that specialize in portfolio preparation and career-building methods. In addition, the Metro Artists had the opportunity to exhibit their work in the last three Jersey City Artist Studio Tours.
We are inviting schools/students to submit art portfolios for consideration. This program will be selective. Candidates must submit a portfolio and be interviewed for acceptance. Portfolios will be reviewed by visual art professionals. Space will be limited to 15 students from Hudson County and the surrounding areas.
