Its close to the PATH (Directly across the road) and its cheap, the apartments start about $1, 300.00 for a one bedroom. I don't live there, but I visit from time to time I know a few folks there. The apt's are basic, I mean really, really basic.

Nothing special but its across the street from PATH and down the road from little India. I don't understand safe questions, each person is different, so I will let some else answer that.

Best of luck!

Thank you for the input. Safe to me just means I don't have to put a chair in front on the door. :)

Then its safe enough, no chair needed :)

Hello all. I am new to the site and looking for a little specific help. I would like to move closer to the city where my life does not revolve around the large 90 min commute I have now. I have looked around my 1400 budget and found State Square in Journal Square. I have been unable to find a lot of info on it and wondering if anyone lives there or knows anything about it and area. I don't know a lot about JC and the areas and I'm in my 40's and single and looking to be comfortable and safe. I like a building feel for privacy as opposed to a private rental in a single home. What I'm asking for in a nutshell is info on State Square, JSQ, and any other suggestions you would be kind enough to give me. Thank you so much.
