I received a reaponse from the Path. They are not providing shuttle service but will be adding additional service to the jsq 33rd street line and cross honoring riders onto the exchange place, newport and hoboken light rail stations.
All you have to do is show your metro or smartlink card.

Agreed, then walk a few blocks and grab the B or the D to Grand street and you are in the heart of Chinatown. You can also jump on the F to Delancey and then walk a few blocks over to Chinatown.

The only Jitneys I know of go to Port Authority. Why not get off the 33rd st train at Christopher and grab a cab or walk to subway?

Now that the PATH weekend shutdown is looming upon us, does anyone know if there are jitneys or vans that go from downtown JC (or arounds) into lower manhattan, preferably chinatown?
When I was living in Queens, there were jitneys in varous areas that one can get on that goes right into chinatown. Would be cool if there's something here too. Anyone know?
