If they were from J.C. they would have lived there. You can't suddenly show off you wares when you hit the "jackpot" Before corporate America and government got invloved the mob kept things straight. Years ago everybody got a piece of the pie...and they were happy with their slice.

wow 5 million in cash and they chose to live in Queens and not JC...
To your mob question, yes most of the dealers on a corner near you gets most of their stash from the mob. That 19 year old kid selling smack is not the big cheese as many like to think.

(Just wondering, is there still mob activity in Jersey City?)
---------- By Doug Stanglin USA TODAY Jan 23, 2014 The FBI arrested 5 alleged mobsters in pre-dawn raids Thursday in connection with the infamous 1978 Lufthansa 'Goodfellas' heist of $5 million in cash at JFK airport, ABC News and Reuters report. Vincent Asaro, 78, who is allegedly a ranking member of the Bonanno organized crime family, was arrested at his home in Queens. The raids all took places in the New York area.. The Lufthansa heist -- described at the time as the single-biggest heist in U.S. history -- was made famous in the Martin Scorsese film Goodfellas. The robbers, using information provided by an airport worker, stole millions of U.S. currency that was part of a monthly shipment via Lufthansa to then West Germany where it was used in monetary exchanges serving military servicemen and tourists.
