Yeah, while I'm excited about this event, the name is awful. Very condescending and counter-productive to strengthening JC as its own brand/identity. Email them your complaints, but try to include constructive suggestions. I'm serious. I just did. The current name is terrible.

damn already a "recommendation" without it having started.
i for one am pumped for this and super excited something like this is coming to JC. It's outside my building, so i will definitely be there. I hope something like this stays and maybe becomes like Brooklyn Flea/Smorgasburg.

Kee-riste, I wish Silverman's would get some street opinion before they name another event/business. Remember how well received was the 'Downtown Co-op'?
All the great press about New Jersey City and they pick Sixth Borough? Like Borough Market in Southwark? Was 6th Boro taken? What's so wrong with calling it Hamilton Flea? Something true, not invented or derived. Oh, and please DON'T USE ALL CAPS FOR YOUR IMPORTANT PRESS RELEASES. mkaythxbai

6th Borough Market is a new family-friendly weekend market launching this Fall in downtown Jersey City. Featuring a fabulous mix of artisan and vintage goods, yummy food, and children's activities, the market will a be a comfortable and rewarding weekend destination for everybody. Come on by!
