I didn't see any update on this in the news. I checked with a friend in the JCFD who is friends with the injured firefighter and spoke with him earlier today. He is back home, and considers himself very lucky.

Harrsion doesnt have a truck on duty...the truck is the one with the ladder on the top and they are the ones whos job is to cut and vent the roof. Unfortunally, Harrison doesn't have anyone to man that truck.
Also they have 5 on duty there, 4 firefighters & 1 Captain.

Harrison needs to step up and build a firehouse. A situation like this could've been averted with a more timely response. I saw a video of the backdraft explosion and it was nasty. Godspeed to those injured.

Jersey Journal: Explosion at building on fire in Harrison
The television news is reporting that five Jersey City firefighters were injured. Four have been released from the hospital but no status was given for the fifth. Our prayers are with them.
