The guy is stalking her and she's justifiably upset, as are we. She was prudent enough to dial the non emergency number and the police hassled her on the phine. Waited fir 20 mins at Pep Boys and the officers who arrived were much more accomodating.

There's a separate post here regarding an armed robbery on the 100 block of Coles and some folks are arguing back and forth regarding whether or not it's "truly in the downtown." I'm here to tell you that the police were pounding on my front door at 11:15am Sunday morning, as the bodega is on Coles (between 6th and 7th) and was held up by gunpoint. The owner was killed at gunpoint a year or so ago and his family has maintained this business.

We have a video camera mounted on the exterior of our home and police reviewed it, in hopes of spotting the suspect.

Returned home tonight to learn that the laundry mat on the corner of Coles & 7th was also robbed by gunpoint today.

My nerves are shot. Please tell me where the Police are in this neighborhood?

Ya, what he is doing is definitely on the creepster side, but it's not illegal. If he was taking photos of your nanny and child inside your home, that's a different story. If this guy is a amateur photog, he should have the courtesy to ask permission to take another person's photo just out of respect. Hopefully he's just one of JC's many harmless weirdos.

Well it looks like he will be able to get all the photos of your kids he wants, now that you posted a link to your entire flickr.

Looks like a creeper but may be hard to charge him with anything.

Hi: our nanny cares for our two year old daughter from 8-6 each day and is out and about with baby in stroller M-F. On three separate occassions (past month or so) she's been aware of a man following her. She turned around on Jersey Ave/5th one day to catch him taking photos of her, using his phone ~ he immediatly turned and ran away.

Today she was outside the mall and turned to face him ~ again taking photos of her / the baby. He turned and ran towards BJ's / Shop Rite and she managed to take a photo of him.

She's filed two police reports ~ has anyone else here encountered him? Will try to upload a photo here.
