They are (Zone 1 in many places). That's an old map.

Yeah, that was the first map I found, but it highlights some places where you can't actually park. But then, so does the JCPA list. They say you can park on Greene, but I haven't seen a single Zone 4 sign on that street.

Unless those addresses are how they determine which zone they give you, rather than physical locations you can park?

Zone 4 is not a great zone, especially if you live south of Columbus. Check this map for a better idea of where you can park.

Just moved to JC and the parking authority gave me a Zone 4 permit. I'm south of Columbus, and it seems like there are only about 2 blocks worth of parking. Their zoning document says I can park on Warren, Washington, Greene, Montgomery, and York. But the only parking I can find on these streets is on York just west of Washington, and Washington just south of York. And it's got alternate side rules, so Mon/Thurs you can only park on a single block of Washington St. Everything else is No Parking or Metered parking (and I assume my permit doesn't give me a free pass on feeding the meter). Why do they even list these addresses as being part of the zone if you can't actually use your permit there?

Looks like I have to hoof it a few blocks north of Columbus if I can't find one of the handful of spots near my apartment. Or find a lot to stick my car in that's a bit closer.
