The Lincoln Tunnel is open. On November 1 and November 2, per NYC HOV restriction, Lincoln Tunnel vehicles will need 3 or more passengers to enter Manhattan from 6 a.m. to midnight.
The south tube of the Holland Tunnel is open for BUSES ONLY, this morning, in the eastbound direction. NYC DOT Establishes HOV3+ Restrictions at East River Crossings to Address Post-Sandy Congestion as Transit Repairs Continue MTA?s RFK Triborough Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel and Henry Hudson Bridge are also restricted to Vehicles Occupied by Three or More People Alternate Side Parking suspended Tomorrow and Friday, Parking Meters Reinstated

Re: carpooling retrictions in/out of manhattan, the nyc.gov DOT site says it's East River: http://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/html/pr2012/pr12_63.shtml Do the carpooling restrictions apply to HUDSON RIVER crossings TOO? Do I check w/ Port Authority's website? my second question is, can anyone confirm that these East River carpooling restrictions are ONLY until today 11/2? I have a new job orientation in LI on Monday @ 7am, and am ready to tear my hair out trying to figure out multiple ways of getting there!!!!
