Channel 2 news stated the driver had no license, registration, nor insurance and he was drunk driving charged with DUI doing 40mph on a turn into the glass window of the business.

As many as eight people were injured, three critically, when a white SUV smashed into the Dunkin' Donuts on Central Avenue tonight, according to officials. A 14-year-old girl is among the victims, Fire Director Armando Roman said. Police spokesman Stan Eason said the driver of the vehicle is one of the injured, though Eason wasn't sure of the severity of his injuries.
