Police arrested a Jersey City felon and two others and recovered what turned out to be a pellet gun during a traffic stop Downtown on Thursday evening, officials said.

Jose Ariel Gomez, 25, of Old Bergen Road, was charged with weapons offenses and issued summonses for allowing an unlicensed driver to drive what turned out to be his mother's car, a report says. Gomez, as well as the back seat passenger, Jose Billalona, 26, of Columbus Drive, had open warrants for their arrest, the report says.Busted.
