thank you for all of your sound suggestions. Staples took care of the job.

and by "junk mail" I meant credit card offers, old bills, etc. stuff with just enough personal info to keep it out of the regular recycling stack. (and jeebus, that crap piles UP.)

I'm pretty sure Staples does this. It's something like $.80/lb. (Obviously, I'd call to double-check before you head over.)

anyone know of a place where I can bring a huge bag of junk mail to get shredded? I neglected to stay on top of it, and it'll take all weekend with my cheesy little home shredder.
