Thats probably the Lefrak pier tower. But they need a tenant before they build and its only going to be 6 or 7 stories or something like that.

Marbella 2 is the biggest put off factor for me when considering whether to purchase in the building or not. I heard there maybe a 17 story commercial tower coming up near the marina on the edge of the Hudson beyond Avalon Cove that may partially block the city view from several apartment lines in A condo. Any information available on that?

From the outside it looks like a halfway decent building, but in the short term there is going to be construction to the north with the Marbella II tower. In the lot to the west, 110 First Street looks like its likely to be under construction soon as well, and even when those two projects are finished, 111 First will also likely be under construction in a few years.

No replies at all? I would be interested as well since I am looking to purchase an apartment there. I have seen the units from inside and they seem to be pretty well constructed with nice floors and well known appliances. The building doesnt have too many amenities - only a gym and a sundeck and the gym isnt too great (no mirrors!!)

I am particularly interested in knowing what buildings are coming up in and around A condos so that I know in advance what views would be blocked in which apartment units in the near future.
