Jersey City police say pizza delivery man robbed of cellphone, $185

A Jersey City pizza delivery man was robbed at knifepoint Sunday night in Greenville, police report.

At about 10:30 p.m., officers responded to the Grand Street pizzeria and spoke to the 38-year-old victim, who said he was delivering food on Bostwick Avenue when he saw a man standing next to the front porch, reports said.

The man approached him from behind and held a knife to his throat while going through his pockets. The robber took the victim?s cellphone and $185, reports said.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Jersey City police tip line at (201) 547-JAIL.
