I don't speak for them and have no idea how they would respond, but have you checked with the organization that runs Camp Liberty? I don't know if or what they use the space for on weekends.

JC Sea Cadets looking for new location

For a couple years the Sea Cadets have drilled one weekend a month at Liberty State Park, now the State wants to charge quite a bit of money. We are a non-profit youth organization www.jerseycityseacadets.org
We would like a waterfront area, space for about 20 Cadets, electricity. We will most likely end up in Bayonne or Kearny. CO
