This was over 10 years ago... I just had a contractor take care of it. Everything was inspected by the city.

Yeah, I'm expecting something along those lines, but isn't an engineering report the 1st stop?

Some of these older buildings are not on real foundations. I worked on one where the 'footing' consisted of compacted cinders.
What I have seen done in the past: Install a temporary reinforcement of the floors above with 2x10's sistered together and lolly columns. Remove a section of the foundation, excavate, and pour a new footing. Rebuild the wall with new concrete block. Repeat until the entire foundation / wall has been replaced.

Lets put it this way, the ceiling lights are all attached to defunct gaslight pipes. I think the contractor could be a century in the ground.

How old is the building? Are you still able to hold the contractor responsible? Perhaps also contact the city to see if they will assist. Good luck to you.

Thanks, but all I need is the engineer for my multifamily that's sinking because of our crappy leaking sewer system undermining the foundation.

I'd like to get a engineering survey of my structural & foundation problems. Has anyone used an LPE or foundation contractor they trust?
