Patrice Lumumba Malcolm O’Neal (he was named after the Congolese independence leader Patrice Lumumba, and his last name has often been spelled Oneal) was born on Dec. 7, 1969, in Boston. He began performing at open mikes there, and by the late 1990s he was working clubs in Los Angeles and New York.
This guy ain't from J.C. he's from Boston

Patrice O'Neal was definitely a funny guy. Can't believe he's dead. Goes to show the importance of a healthy diet and weight management, kids!

Comedian Patrice O’Neal Dead at 41

More sad news from the world of entertainment; Comedian Patrice O’Neal has died at the age of 41. TMZ reports that O’Neal passed away on Monday night, following a stroke he had back on October 19. O’Neal, a native of Jersey City, NJ, is well known for his standup comedy career and for regularly appearing on the Opie and Anthony radio program and for guest appearances in Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, The Dave Chappelle show and even NBC’s The Office. He also released his own CD/DVD entitled Patrice O’Neal – Elephant In The Room. Gamers might remember Patrice’s voice from Grand Theft Auto IV’s in-game radio station, Fizz!. Most recently, O’Neal performed at the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen.

R.I.P. Patrice O'Neal. Funny dude who lived down near Greenville if I recall correctly. His bit with Louis CK about the word ni**er was classic.

Contains offensive words, obviously. Also a bunny. And laughter.
