1. Not even the most effeminate dude in JC would name himself "snowflake20".

2. Not even the most awful boring dad in JC would take every chance possible to talk about his kids online, as snowflake20 does. It's a woman.

That said, as a former child of parents, please folks: Don't let your kids see you naked. They do not want to see that shit.

1. I call everyone dude as do my girlfirends. Obviously snowflake20 is a mother or at least seems to be here on the internet.
2. I don't jhang out here enough to know about that.
3. Agree. After toilet training kids should not see adults naked unless it's in the swmming pool shower.

Take your kids to Applebee's. Please let there be SOME place in the Hoboken/JC area that isn't overrun by offspring, and the parents who think said crotch-fruit can do no wrong.

I havnt been to a whole lot a places in Downtown in recent years. Has it really gotten as bad as Hoboken? I hate to even lump Jersey City in the same sentence as Hoboken (not sure why you did either), just makes me have heartburn thinking that their are any similarities between the two.

1. The fact that you know what the studio Brazzers is somewhat disqualifies your points. Are you saying that the girls in those videos shouldn't be allowed to make appearences at bars in JC even clothed?

Hey, if this place opens, I'll try it out at least once. Jersey City can use a little excitement now and then.

For those who are offended by this concept, don't go there and don't look at it. And for those who oppose the place because it happens to be XXX number of feet from an elementary school or a "family friendly neighborhood", the kids won't see anything from the outside. Get a grip, this is a city, not the quiet clean safe residential suburbs, so if you don't like it you can move.

They probably didn't run into as many roadblocks at the buildings department as Atomic Wings did. Sex sells, after all.

why do your kids see you all the time, weirdo?

And I don't think they're going for family-friendly, obviously. So I don't think you should feel obligated to defend yourself. Hooters bills itself as family friendly, and they honestly aren't dressed too provocatively, especially compared to this place.

While an uncomfortable relationship with the human body is common for Americans, the position that our children will be negatively affected if they see a half a boob is still a load of crap. What has decades of that attitude gotten us? At best, a desperate fascination with cheap titillation.

The restaurant employs a pathetically cheap concept so we can reject it for simply being cheap, not for its potential to appall Quakers who will never step foot inside.
I think you have a total misunderstanding of what Quakers are. Depending on what sect of Quaker you're from, or where you grew up, Quakers can either be very conservative (like in the midwest or Africa) or they can be very liberal people that range from free-love hippies to civil rights advocates. Most of the Quakers along the East Coast, even down South, are of the liberal mindset, and as such wouldn't have a problem with the place. Don't talk shit if you don't know shit. Quaker 4 lyfe yo.

Nixon was a Quaker
In name and by birth only. The guy didn't even abide by one of the main principals of Quakerism, which is peace. He wanted to freaking nuke Vietnam. He also applied to be in the Navy during WWII. When he grew up he made his own brand of Quakerism, where pacifism and equality didn't apply. After those tapes were released of his rants in the Oval Office, hundreds of Quaker meetings around the country called for his meeting house to disown him.

Hey don’t worry you might just get your wish. Somehow I don’t think there are any beautiful Scottish lusty leggy lassies left living in JC (say that 3 times fast) to fill the hostess jobs.

Something tells me the place is going to be stocked with beauties like this…

Are you ready to order.. laddie?

Talk about junk hanging out!! Yipes!

I think it's pretty narrowly targeted at the officeworker crowd rather than the locals. BTW, I believe "tilted kilt" is a euphemism for an erection, not too family friendly!

Well, it's not as if it's a strip club. But I see your point.

This seems like the kind of place that would work well on a bland commercial/retail highway in Texas, not Jersey City. I feel like it's just ... out of place? What market are they going for here with a massive chain sports bar? I would say it would draw some people from Hoboken, but Hoboken already has one apparently!

It just doesn't seem like the kind of place that would resonate with JC residents.

At least that space won't be vacant. Also the Surf City restaurant should be opening in the spring/summer, so at least the marina area will have some signs of life.

At first I was tricked by the interesting food items, but I will never step foot in this place. Ever. Unless I have a medical emergency right outside the door and need to go in there for urgent help.

I really do hate to crap on new businesses opening up in JC, but this place looks like a total cluster.

Pretty much every location for this chain across the country has 2 stars on Yelp.

Hello All,

I'm sitting here patiently for my flight to board and I figured I'd take a minute to thank you ALL for WOWing me with your company beliefs and support over the last few days. I am so happy to have come to this Brand Training to learn first hand how amazing this company really is. To be honest with you, I did not expect the level of professionalism and knowledge from such a young company. My dedication to this company has just been reconfirmed from these past 4 days. Thank you once again and please keep up the amazing work. I cant even begin to imagine where this company will be 10 years from now. Wow.

Thanks again.

Warmest Regards,
Nirav B. Patel, Owner

Based on the Yelp reviews I can imagine where this company will be 2 years from now -- defunct.

With dishes such as the Irish Nachos, the Scottish Cheesesteak Salad, Maggie Mae’s Fish & Chips and Gaelic Chicken in an Irish whiskey cream sauce, the Tilted Kilt will appeal to a variety of tastebuds. A bevy of burgers, sandwiches and salads are also on the menu. More than 30 beers are on tap, all of which will be served by a beautiful wait staff dressed in white blouses, plaid kilts and knee-high socks complementing the Celtic theme. For the sports enthusiast, no fewer than 49 HD TVs will air just about every popular sporting event available, including professional football, basketball, baseball and hockey, as well as college athletics.
