Those guys are awfully cozy with the city inspector. I would keep a close eye on what develops there.

The guys who are renovating the house on Pavonia between W. Hamilton and Coles are in contract to purchase the church, though the deal hasn't closed yet. They have already retained an architect to start with plans. I'm pretty confident the number of units hasn't been determined, but it will be some condos. With zoning ordinances I doubt they will be able to get 12 units without providing parking. I think they most they may be able to pull of would be about 6.

This same person also did a conversion I think over on 4th near Manila. It's a yellow building. It came out quite nice.

I have seen the 2 arab/hispanic? guys from the place on the southside of Pavonia between Coles and the park bringing stuff from the church. Wood etc. I think they are buying the church.

Which brownstone? There are like 3 houses in a row being renovated on Pavonia near Coles right now.

304 Pavonia Ave. It's still listed on Del Forno's website and is not marked sold, so I don't imagine there are firm plans yet. They are marketing it as having multiple potential uses:

I heard from a neighbor that the old Baptist church on Pavonia Avenue between Coles Street and Monmouth Street is going to be converted into 12-14 condo units. Anyone know anything?
