TalkingPolitics.net Meet 6 of the 17 candidates running including Rich Boggiano - 13F, Rolando Lavarro - 12C, Dan Levin - 15F, Suzanne Mack - 16C, Omar Perez - 17C and Imtiaz Syed - 15D. None of them have served on the City Council. Both incumbents were invited but declined due to other committments. The term is for 1.5 years until the next municipal election in May 2013. The 2 seats were vacated by Councilman Mariano Vega, who pleaded guilty in the Bid Rig / Solomon Dwek scandal and Councilwoman Willie Flood who resigned due to health reasons, alzheimers. The election is Tuesday, Nov 8th. Please vote! The polls will be open from 7am to 9pm. .
