Today, the JCBOE passed the salary increase of 1.5% to EIGHT JCBOE administrators. The administration claims it is ZERO increase because they will be paying it towards their (employee portion) of health care costs...
1. Employee portion of health care should be given by EMPLOYEE and not by TAX PAYERS. 2. Last year, they said the same thing and gave themselves, 1.5% salary increase. That means so far (in 13 months) they got around 3% of salary increase while paying 1.5% towards health care. How is it ZERO increase?
