They should arrest people for their horrible driving and parking skills on that block.

I saw about 15 to 20 undercover cars & SUVs with lights & sirens on rt 400 about 1pm heading north towards that direction.
Thru the tinted windows, I could see a few people in these cars wearing jackets thar said FBI. They were being escorted by jcpd on police motorcycles & a few jcpd radio cars. I drove down Newark ave about 4:30pm & saw the 3 stores tapes off & the jcpd & the FBI in the area. The only news truck in the area was channel 7 but didn't happend to see any coverage at 6. Maybe there will be something on the news tonight.

I'm happy to hear there was no physical harm done to anyone. When I went by this afternoon I saw the crime tape up and assumed it was a robbery gone wrong

Sadly they're not near any city offices...
FBI on scene: 3 jewelry stores closed, cordoned off on Newark Avenue in Jersey City The FBI and Jersey City police are out in force along Newark Avenue in Jersey City where three jewelry stores have been closed and cordoned off with caution tape, Jersey Journal staff writer Terrence McDonald reports from the scene. Ashu Jewelers, 814 Newark Ave.; Raja Jewelers, 820 Newark Ave.; and Nikita's Inc., at the corner of Newark and Liberty avenues are involved. Sources say the federal investigation is looking into possible credit card fraud and money laundering. http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/20 ... ene_3_jewelry_stores.html
