Sharon Dennis Wyeth is the author of award winning picture books such as "Something Beautiful" and "Always My Dad", early reader fiction such as "Too Many Houses" and "Tomboy Trouble", middle grade and young adult historical and contemporary fiction such as "Once on This River" and "A Piece of Heaven". Her latest work is "Freedom?s Wings", an Underground Railroad story. Her most recent book, "The Granddaughter Necklace", is an uplifting tale of love, kinship, and gifts, passed down through generations.

Since much of her work is drawn on her childhood experiences, she shares her personal story as well, which includes the positive impact writing has had on her life. Sharon lives in Montclair, New Jersey.
