Brunch running late at VIP DIner? I'm the only no tax hike sign in the square :(

I'm making new friends here by JSQ Pub though.

So it turns out the sleeping man is none other than the $110,000 dollar a year deputy mayor Kabili Tayari. He absolutely personifies the tenor of the Healy incompetents.
I saw him asleep at the first meeting several weeks ago and did'nt know who he was. He can also be seen asleep at the council caucus meeting under the "NAACP Head Kabili Tayari letter" post. It's wonderful and right out of central casting. His image asleep is poster material. Next meeting when he's zonked I suggest everyone call out "Phone call for Mr. Tayari." You can't make this up.

I think it was a good night.

According to the JC Independent, there were about 200 people there, still more residents attending than usual.

http://www.jerseycityindependent.com/ ... ons-move-denied-and-more/

People came and left, some had signs, others stayed to the bitter end and many got up to speak. The message was clear.

The man in the white shirt was good, as was everyone that got up to speak. The more people who do that, the better.

Seeing Deputy Mayor Tayari sleeping in the background at the end of the video is reflective of the attitude of the City Council and what they think of the tax payers of this town.

Thanks for not adding a sound track this time, much better to just focus on the issues.

Although the guy in the background at 14:45 maybe needed some music... is he a citizen or part of any board?

The more signs and fliers, the better.

Anyone have an old sheet we could paint and use as our own marching banner?

It's said that St. Patrick chased the snakes out of Ireland. Now it's our turn to chase the snakes off the Council. Quote:
Join Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy and the Municipal Council as they march in Jersey City?s St. Patrick?s Day Parade, from 12:30 p.m to 3:30 p.m., on Sunday, March 14
We'll be there! Journal Square.
