The Palisade Ave jitneys still run during the morning and take people back in the evening. The NJ tranist bus on Palisade to NYC is the 123 bus. It runs from Christ Hospital and goes into Union City before heading into the tunnel.

The Central Ave jitney actually runs the 99s/10 route up Central and turns down Congress. Once in the city it drives up 39th street and goes inside the Port Authority basement to Gate 51. You are able to pick up the bus there as well to go back to NJ. It travels from Bayonne to NYC and vice versa. From speaking with the driver they apparrently run from 9am-10pm.

NJ Transit 123 does I think.

There is a NJ Transit bus, but not sure of the the bus number.

i used to live in the heights and take them to NYC. Does that mean there is now no bus (or jitney) that runs down Palisade Avenue to go into the city?

I think they rerouted them once the 99s/10 moved from Palisades to Central Avenue.

Apparently the jitneys added a new route. I assume it is to compete with 99s/10 bus. They run down Central and go INSIDE port authority Gate 51 I think.
