Jersey City's Tomasz Adamek defeated Andrzej Golota yesterday in Lodz, Poland. It was billed as the biggest fight in Polish history. Not much of a fight though, Adamek basically hit him at will. I almost felt bad for the old timer, but then I realized how much money he was getting paid to take a short beating. Adamek trains at the Rocky Marciano Boxing Gym on Division Street.
