addicted, can you provide a little more detail? When did you see this happen and what other things other than DVD is this person selling? We did lose some DVDs/Games/BluRays so it's quite possible. Any help is appreciated. I'll stop by Bubbles to ask them once I know the time to ask for.

i was doing laundry at bubbles 3 on south and kennedy when a tall skinny white guy came in selling items that might have been stolen. I cant quite tell you the color bag he was carrying but i dont like buying things like dvds or anything else on the street so i just tell them im not interested but i saw him put the bag down and show other people that seemed interested the items so maybe you can go to bubbles and see the security tape. this was on the 9th though so dont know if this helps

Yes, we did went around the neighborhood asking for clues. I'll keep that contracting work in mind. That section of Liberty was being paved when this happened so I wonder if there is a way to contact those that were there to pave the road.

A Macy shopping bag was also taking so the thief could also be carrying that along with the duffel bag.

liberty ave runs all the way from one extreme of the heights (near secaucus) to the other (near the gas stations by rt 139). where exactly did this take place?

also, ask your neighbors if there was any contracting work being done. most crimes like this, while not inside jobs, are done by people who have spent time scouting out the area and know when you wouldn't be home.

My place was broken into on Thursday of last week. Lost a bunch of electronics and jewelry. Did call the police and filed a report. They mentioned there has been a lot of similiar cases recently so I thought I post it here to warn people and look for clues.

I know this is a shot in the dark, but if anyone seen someone carrying a navy blue Reebok duffel/gym bag on Thursday walking around on Kennedy Blvd or Liberty Ave in the Heights, please let me know. Thanks.
