Sounds good. As long as you say the atmosphere is not similar to marco & pepe's, I'm excited to try this out! Ha ha!

Thanks for the heads up Parkman. Will be sure to check it out soon. I picked up the menu the other day right before they opened. Excited that they are making use of the garden in the back. While I like sidewalk dining at times, there's something to be said for having a more tranquil alternative.

Hows the prices/ Crowd there
The prices were reasonable especially for the quality of food and service…less than Skinners, Ox, and Merchant. The crowd is young (except for me) and similar to Merchant and Majestic.

We have a winner!

Ventured out to “More” (281 Grove) on their opening night with the question of why we need another “fusion” restaurant. I’m pleased to report that it was one of the best total experiences I’ve had since Ox.

The renovation of the space was very pleasing, the staff was welcoming, and the food was remarkable. We ate in the garden area which accommodates about 30 seats…nicely lit, quiet, and comfortable although it was a little cool tonight.

We ordered the calamari fritters and chicken satay for appetizers…both were beautifully presented and very tasty. For entrées, we had two of their special sushi rolls (caterpillar and angel), both had wonderful flavor combinations we’ve never had before. Two of us had the barbeque steak, which again was nicely presented and cooked perfectly. And I had the roasted duck… great combinations of flavors, the duck very tender and not fatty.

Desserts were fried banana with ice cream and a warm flourless chocolate cake…there goes the diet but worth the calories.

As a bonus, it’s a BYOB although they do have some very interesting non-alcoholic drinks.

For an opening night, or for that matter any night, this is a welcome addition to our growing selection of excellent restaurants.
